Appointments

Our hours are by appointment only. Currently we’re unable to handle walk-ins. Please text, call or go online (website or fb) if you are looking for a therapy session. New appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice must be confirmed by Golden Hands Therapeutic Massage, LLC before they are considered to be scheduled. When an appointment is scheduled, a time slot is reserved for that client for that particular time. Payment in entirety is required, whether or not services were rendered for the full duration of the reserved treatment time. It’s our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

Cancellation Policy

There is only so much time in a day and time is valuable. Our time together is important. Unless there is an emergency, we request at least 24 hours advance notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. This allows us enough time to fill the time slot. If a client fails to cancel or reschedule their appointment with-in the requested 24 hours multiple times (2 or more), they will be asked to pre-pay for future services in advance. We ask that you respect our time as it was your own. So, please call and leave a message to cancel appointments or change scheduling ASAP.

Sickness Policy

Golden Hands Therapeutic Massage, LLC recognizes that both massage therapists and clients are vulnerable to infections and therefore ask clients to cancel appointments when they are not feeling well. One thing that I personally don’t like is to share bad germs. So, if you are currently experiencing a cold, flu, diarrhea, vomiting, fever or contagious illnesses or symptoms your session MUST be rescheduled for 48 hrs after symptoms subside.

No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” That person will be charged for the missed appointment. If a gift certificate or coupon was to be used, it will be voided as payment.

Late Arrivals

If you are going to be late for your appointment please call. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours (i.e. 15 minutes late for a 60 minute session will result in a 45 minute session). Depending upon how late you are arrive or running, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full payment of your session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please be on time.

Payment Policy

Full payment is due the same day of services rendered. We accept cash, debit/credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discovery) as forms of payment.

Tipping

A gratuity is a good way to express your appreciation if you are happy with the massage. As with the rest of the service industry, gratuities are typically between 15-25%. You will get the same level of excellent professional service whether you tip or not. One of the best ways to “tip” the therapists to refer your friends, co-workers and family for massage or energy work!

Safety

I have the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. This includes the use of alcohol, drugs or any behavior that I feel is inappropriate. As a Licensed Massage Bodywork Therapist I abide by a strict code of ethics that I stick by at all times.

Scope of Practice

Golden Hands Therapeutic Massage, LLC offers strictly therapeutic and relaxing massage and energy work (Reiki). Sexual innuendos or requests (either verbal or nonverbal) from clients will not be tolerated. Upon such occasion, I reserve the right to end the session earl, and the client will owe for the entire amount of the scheduled appointment. In some cases, may call the police. So just don’t do it!

Golden Hands Therapeutic Massage, LLC does not diagnose or treat illness or disease, prescribe medications, or perform spinal manipulations. If a client presents with an ailment that is out of my scope of practice I will refer that client to a professional who is qualified to work with that particular ailment.
